When you and your partner are completely in sync and “clicking,” it is a wonderful feeling. But when you’re in the same room and feel like you’re miles apart, that strain on a relationship is taxing on both partners.
Couples approach me for countless reasons: disagreements over finances, infidelity, poor communication…the list goes on. And while each of these are significant and important reasons to seek therapy, they are often symptoms of deeper root issues. When I work with you and your partner, I focus on each individual in the relationship to understand them: their past, their goals, their dreams. Then, I work with the you both and discuss about your past, your goals as a couple, your dreams. Often, relationship discord is rooted in past trauma. Remove your blocks to moving forward with your dreams as an individual and as a couple.
When you and your partner work with me, we build a relationship based on trust, respect, and a desire to leave my office feeling better and more optimistic than when you entered. I also ensure that you both have the tools you need to be a better version of yourself. Then together, as a couple, you can continue to grow.
