Grief and loss affects all of us at one time or another, and whether it is recent or decades old, it can have a profound effect on how we approach our daily lives, our relationships, and our outlook. Loss and trauma materializes in a variety of ways: the loss of a friend or loved one, a beloved pet, a traumatic accident or life experience are just a few of the many ways loss and trauma enter our lives.
Whether you know the cause of your pain or not, I work closely with you to get to the root of the issue. Together, and with visualization and grounding techniques that specifically target areas of your brain where trauma is stored, we peel away the layers that are holding you back from feeling like your whole self.
Much like our muscles, our brain and our mind have the ability to self-heal. Just like how injured muscles must be exercised and trained to heal properly, so, too must our minds. I work with my clients to zero in on where their minds are holding onto trauma or grief, and together we train the mind to reveal the source of the trauma so that it may begin to heal.
